Be a Part of Developing the Trail Masterplan to Link Stone Mtn to Pilot Mountain

The Elkin Valley Trails Assn. has been designated as the Task Force for building the NC Mountains-to-Sea Trail (MST) in this area. We’re developing a “Masterplan” for the MST from Stone Mountain State Park through Elkin/Jonesville to Pilot Mountain State Park in coordination with a Regional Health Department grant, Destination by Design and the State Trails Division. If you are interested in learning about this plan, would like to be a part or contribute ideas please join us at the Elkin Center, on North Bridge in Elkin, March 20, 2014,from 6:30 to 8:30. We hope to gain input from folks from the entire region from Stone Mt./Elkin/Jonesville/Pilot Mountain. We’ll have food and beverage 🙂
