**3 Great Trails, 2 State Parks, and a small town vibe!**

Elkin and Jonesville is at the confluence of three great trails…the NC [Mountains-to-Sea Trail](https://mountainstoseatrail.org/), the [Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail](https://www.nps.gov/ovvi/index.htm), and the [Yadkin River Paddle Trail](https://trails.nc.gov/state-trails/yadkin-river-state-trail). (2 State, as well as, a Federal Trail). Our trail town is also located between two State Parks…[Stone Mountain](https://www.ncparks.gov/state-parks/stone-mountain-state-park) and [Pilot Mountain](https://www.ncparks.gov/state-parks/pilot-mountain-state-park).

Tying it all together is the Yadkin River, which flows through the heart of our downtown. In addition, in our area, you’ll find a [Yadkin Valley/Surry Wine Trail](https://www.yadkinvalleync.com/), [Elkin & Alleghany Rail Trail](https://elkinvalleytrails.org/our-area-trails/maps/), Surry Scenic Bikeway, Jonesville Greenway, first-class mountain [bike trails (Jonesville & Elkin locations)](https://www.trailforks.com/region/jonesville-1606882273/), a birding trail, and the nearby [Blue Ridge Parkway](https://www.nps.gov/blri/index.htm).
